CJC-1295 Research Guide
CJC-1295 complete guide: dosing, DAC vs no-DAC differences, stacking with ipamorelin and side effects.
How CJC-1295 works
CJC-1295 is a growth-hormone-releasing hormone analogue. It increases the amplitude of natural GH pulses rather than replacing GH, so the pituitary keeps its feedback control. It is almost always paired with a GHRP such as ipamorelin, which supplies the pulse trigger.
DAC vs no-DAC
With Drug Affinity Complex, the half-life extends to roughly six to eight days, producing a sustained GH bleed and once- or twice-weekly dosing. Without DAC (modified GRF 1-29), the half-life is around 30 minutes, giving a sharp pulse and requiring one to three daily injections.
Typical dosing
No-DAC protocols use 100 mcg per injection, one to three times daily, most commonly before bed and post-training. DAC protocols use 1–2 mg once or twice weekly. Inject on an empty stomach with no fat or carbohydrate for 30 minutes before and after.
Stacking with ipamorelin
The standard combination is CJC-1295 no-DAC 100 mcg plus ipamorelin 200–300 mcg in the same pre-bed injection. Ipamorelin is selective and does not raise cortisol or prolactin, which is why it is preferred over GHRP-6 or hexarelin for long-term use.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use CJC-1295 with or without DAC?
No-DAC mimics the natural pulsatile pattern and is preferred for most protocols. DAC suits people who want minimal injection frequency.
When should I inject CJC-1295?
Before bed on an empty stomach is the standard timing, because it overlaps with the largest natural GH pulse.
How long is a CJC-1295 cycle?
Most protocols run 12 to 16 weeks with a break afterwards to avoid pituitary desensitisation.
